Cross Section
The user can generate cross sections through P velocity, S velocity or density variations anywhere on Earth in some default tomographic models provided with the tool. For setting the location of the profile, the user can click on the map at the bottom right which will move the profile. This changes the mid-point of the profile (yellow dot). It is also possible to manually enter the values of the latitude and longitude of the mid-point. The azimuth of the profile can be set manually as well. The location of the corresponding starting (green dot) point of the profile is indicated. Hotspots (pink dots) and earthquakes (white dots) can be displayed or not on top on the profile. Once the profile is set, a cross section can be generated by clicking on "Plotting". The user can in the end either download the image or an ASCII file with the values. A full manual can be found clicking on the tab "Manual" or on the home page.
